My why is that I want—and need—to be engaged in meaningful service. Board service is a natural way to do that.
I have long had an interest in child and adolescent well-being. Early in my career, I focused on health disparities affecting children with special health care needs—particularly in genetic services, Down syndrome, and access to care. More broadly, my background is in health policy, public health, and health care analytics.
This professional perspective is complemented by my personal experience raising our own children.
I believe the mission of No Brain Is the Same is a strong and important one, and well worth supporting.
